Teaching

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, completed the LRAM teaching diploma with Distinction, and all of my pupils taking ABRSM exams have received Distinction or Merit. I have coached and adjudicated for the National Youth Orchestra and British Flute Society Competitions, and given classes at several universities.

Having taught pupils of all ages and standards, I am always willing to be flexible in terms of goals. I like to emphasise flute fundamentals alongside tailored direction based on a student’s musical preferences.

I have training in working with Special Educational Needs children through Live Music Now, and can travel or teach online.
